Finding the best home insurance deal
It’s a sobering thought, but in the UK one in three people will have been burgled at some point in their lives. And not having the right cover in place means you’re not covered for unexpected things such as fire or flood damage. That’s why getting adequate home insurance is extremely important.
If you own your property, your mortgage provider will usually insist that you have buildings insurance in place, if not from them then from someone else. While you’re not obliged to have contents insurance as well, it’s highly recommended that this is also taken out, even if you’re only renting a property.
As well as the main mortgage providers, there are plenty of companies in the market that offer home insurance. moneyhelpline.com’s home insurance comparison service shows you some of the best deals in the market after you’ve entered some basic details about your property and the type of cover you’re after.
Click on the home insurance tab at the top of the page to start the process and get a quote.
